Virtual Pool 64, the first billiards title on Nintendo 64, features a 3D table and a choice of nine game variants: 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball, 6-ball, 3-ball, rotation pool, straight pool, bank pool and one pocket. Before you start playing, you can enter your name for record keeping and select one of four modes: Match, Tournament, Freestyle, and Shark Skins. A tournament consists of two to four rounds, while a match is simply a one-on-one challenge. Freestyle allows up to four players to create their own rules, whereas Shark Skins has you trying to clear a table in the fewest number of shots. <br><br>Control involves aiming and powering up each shot by holding back on the analog stick. You can also control spin as well as select from a variety of options, including calling shots, push-outs, pass push-outs, and spotting the lowest ball. Other options include four table colors, three rooms, and adjustable table speed, rail speed, pocket cut, and pocket size. In-game help is available for those new to billiards, with the rules for all nine games and general strategy tips included on the 32-megabit cartridge. Soo bad!!!
