This is great entertainment and relaxing comedy... 6 stars of the 1970s match wits
If you are very tired of the boring, non-entertaining Game Shows on TV, zip back to the mid 1970's for real laughter, real comedy, and no political correctness, just a great EMCEE - Gene Rayburn - an all around amazing actor on TV and Broadway, who is naturally sharp witted and funny....a thousand times better than the 'regulars' of the current shows. A different mix of 6 TV characters will make you watch several of these shows back to back. If you need some great new one-liners, tune in. They Dont Make Em like this ANYMORE....
What a trip back to the 70s and early 80s. MATCH GAME was THE game show back in the day. It was generally on in the early afternoon, just in time when you got home from school, and for awhile early PM, just before the prime time shows on CBS, There are two box sets. One with two discs and the prime package with four discs, which are fantastic. This box set includes the hard to find 1962 pilot show, THE ONLY SURVIVING copy of the 1960s series. Fortunately, the 70s version in COLOR is intact, complete with select classic episodes, all fronted by the master of game show hosts, Gene Rayburn.
