The inner lining is all synthetic so no issues at all with mane rubbing. They are light weight but warm and breathable. Absolutely perfect for hairy cobs that tend to sweat easily. My big fella is comfortable and dry. These are well made and fit extremely well. All buckles, fittings and straps are high quality and all stitching is strong and well reinforced. Seller is fast to post and they arrive very quickly, even to rural area.
