Limited 180gm vinyl LP repressing. Digitally remastered edition of this 1980 album by the hard rock quartet. Women & Children first was the band's third album, which ended up going triple platinum. With vocals by the wildly entertaining David Lee Roth, the guitar masterwork of Eddie Van Halen and the irreplaceable rhythm section of drummer Alex Van Halen and bassist/backing vocalist Michael Anthony, Van Halen were one of the late '70s and early '80s greatest rock 'n' roll bands. Mastering engineer Chris Bellman, who remastered the original albums at Bernie Grundman Mastering Studios, was enlisted for this new version. In order to produce the original sound the band intended, Bellman cut straight from the quarter-inch tapes.

    Worst eBay transaction I’ve ever had that wasn’t outright fraud. The boxed set was not described as incomplete but was missing everything except the record and the outside box. Seller agreed to the return but ceased communion for weeks. eBay finally intervened, but what neither the seller nor eBay acknowledges is that even a full refund does not compensate for the lost time sending messages, talking to customer service, printing the label, packing the item and delivering it to the carrier.

    Love vinyl music.

    If you love Van Halen you must love this record a recorded at 20 Grumman Studios I must have you'll enjoy every minute of it.

    Excellent Rock & Roll

    Enjoyed this high quality vinyl. Sounds very sharp & clear, not one unwanted noise in vinyl! They really rock on this album. Great hits and mix of tracks, here!

    Worst demo album I have ever heard

    This is by far the worst quality Demo I have ever heard. I would never recommend this to any Van Halen fans. It sounds like they took the regular album and turned everything to mono and recorded it with a 1970's third grader recorder that was broke. Horrible investment, I would never give this as a gift because I would be embarrassed...
