Excellent Guitar
This Yamaha travel guitar from Sam Ash Online store was listed as Used. I received a perfectly sealed brand new guitar. It plays great, good action and tuning up and down the neck. Great Guitar/Great Price

Quality travel and practice guitar.
Good tone due to spruce top. Great factory setup, ease of playability .overall workmanship is exceptional for a low cost guitar. This is an actual playable Instrument. Great instrument for me and met all my expectations. Surprise, I received a follow up call!!!
This is exactly what I wanted as I needed a smaller guitar to take to a university guitar class so I have to carry it around campus to several classes. I had to get used to the sound as it is smaller, but well worth how I am planning to use it. I am retired and have arthritis in my left hand so it's easier than my full size acoustic Martin to maneuver and carry. It is a practice instrument so I have access to it wherever I go. Very Playable, a quality instrument.
This Yamaha thinline 3/4 size is on the small side, but that is a plus in a playable travel size guitar. The gig bag is basic. Consider one with more padding, or finding a 3/4 or small hard case to protect it on car trips. I like the sound from this guitar. Yes, it is more treble due to smaller body size. Electronics are fine, just hold down the on switch for 2-3 seconds, not a split second push, then the tuner comes on. The slim neck is a blessing to my injured thumb. It allows me to practice and play without re-aggravating my sore ligament. This is not medical advice, just what works for me. Again, this is an instrument. 3/4 size, portable, playable and sturdy
I purchased my new Yamaha APXT2 for $179. on sale, and received it about a week earlier than expected! I was looking for a sturdy acoustic /electric travel guitar, and this fit the bill. You don't realize how compact a design it is until you have it in your hands...perfect for travelling about and still having the ability to play. Plugging it into an amp gave this small guitar much more volume and richness. Pleased with the purchase and Spotlight Music. Made in Indonesia. Fun to play
Quality instrument. Plugged in plays just like my full size ones. Tunes up nicely and plays true. Easy fingering for smaller hands with minimal sacrifice of projected resonance. I own 7 guitars and would not hesitate to perform with this Yamaha 3/4.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Tiny but Fun!
This really is a fun little guitar! It feels more like a ukulele with 6 strings. Unamplified it is quiet as a ukulele is quiet. When plugged into an amp, the sound is full and balanced.
