    An excellent Fortran 95 reference book

    I have been programming in Fortran for almost 50 years, I started with Fortran IV, went to 66 then 77 and now 90 and 95. I have a good Fortran 90 book but this Fortran 95 book by Adams et. al. is much better. It is well organized and has plenty of good examples and some helpful tables. It is easy to find answers to any question that I have about correct Fortran coding. The Appendix on Fortran syntax is very useful. I really like this book and consider it as well illustrated as my Fortran IV book by Decima Anderson. The programming knowledge of the authors is well demonstrated in this book. I would recommend it to the experienced programmer. A new programmer should read a beginners book on Fortran or take a comprehensive Fortran course before trying to read this book.
