Excellent and exciting
This is a first class box set. Very good storyline and first class actors. Wasn't quite sure whether I was going to like this and bought it because it wasn't to pricey and I am glad I did as it is full of action and never boring. Would recommend good value for money.

WELL WORTH VIEWING
Brilliant ! great series I'm not into period stuff but this series had me in my seat every episode I was Hooked.. just a pity the series did not carry on.. with its own colorful presentation sleeve to keep the DVD's in, Money well spent! David Currie

Hornblower has always been a favourite in our family. Owning the complete collection is such a pleasure.
All the actors who played the characters are excellent. It is fast-paced, riveting and very entertaining. I think this version of Hornblower being made for films through the ages is the best of them all.

Hornblower old favourite at a good price
I got 8 long episodes in perfect condition for only £5 plus postage. Hornblower has long been a favourite although he fights better than he treats his wife.

Great series about early British Navy
Entertaining TV series and veey good value for money with each episode like a feature film. Great casting too, well worth a watch!

Audio visual delight for blokes
