Wonderful yarn swift!
If you are in the market for a new yarn swift I highly recommend this one. I have a wooden umbrella swift but at times I struggle with it due to my short height. So I purchased this Amish-style yarn swift since it sits on a table top. I really love this swift. Tabletop Yarn Swift Works Just Fine!
This lovely wooden swift is easy to set up with no hardware, no clamping, it just all fits together! Sets up in less than a minute and you're ready to go, just add your ball winder. Beautifully made!
I am a new knitter and saw the commercial winders that are available, but thought I would like a vintage wooden one if I could find it. Then, I saw this and finally used it and I am so pleased with it! It swirls effortlessly and the various skeins I used all fit nicely on the the pegs. Great for us
We bought this to make it easier for us to sell lengths of elastic without it getting tangled up. It works great, but it would be better if there was a way to keep the center (vertical) peg from riding up as it spins around.
