Original soundtrack to the 2009 film from director Richard Curtis (Four Weddings & a Funeral, Notting Hill, Love Actually). The film was released overseas under the title the Boat That Rocked. Bringing together some of Curtis' favorite songs, this soundtrack is truly integral to the movie. It features some of the greatest songs from the '60s and '70s, as well as the odd gem from the '80s. a new version of "Stay with Me Baby" performed by Duffy, meanwhile, provides the backdrop to one of the film's most poignant moments. Includes cuts from the Kinks, the Turtles, the Beach Boys, Herb Alpert, David Bowie, the Who, the Moody Blues, the Isley Brothers and many others. 32 tracks.

    Fine quality soundtrack, great listening.

    I am sure the cost of having the Stone and Beatles represented on this excellent movie and soundtrack would have been over the top but those are primarily the only artist I miss on this soundtrack. The quality is excellent and it is a real treat to time travel back to when I was a teenager and the music was not de-constructed and basically tuneless as many songs are today (yes, I sound old and crabby).

    Soundtrack for the late 1960's!!

    Loved the movie & had to get the soundtrack because it had so many songs from my high school years that I had forgotten. A feel good album in every way.

    Pirate Radio CDs

    I always knew when this movie came out I would purchase the sound track if I ever came across it. Lots of great songs were played in the movie and all have been put together on this 2 disc set. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that enjoys 60s music!

    Great Music!

    This is one of my favorite movies having grown up during this period. Anyone who has seen the movie really needs to purchase this sound track. You won't be disappointed! The only problem you will have is keeping your feet from dancing!

    Music From the Wayback

    I love all the music. It really takes you back in time. The price was great! I looked elsewhere and it was well over $100.00. Definitely not worth that, but the price I paid was a good deal!
