The sign feels like solid aluminum, has a gold colored background with the black part of the sign applied over it. It's extremely well packed and arrives in perfect condition and is a great deal for the money. Two small double sided adhesive pieces are included and are not attached to the back. (I almost didn't see them when unboxing.) See the included pic, I love it!
