Good for serrated
Maybe it's me but for straight edge, I cannot get it to put a edge on any knife,. Works great using it as shown on videos for serrated, quick and sharp, but again, not for straight edge.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

American Made Quality and Simplicity!
I learned about this product from "Cutlery Corner" which airs on television during the week. I have purchased a few items from them and saw the creator of this product, Paul Block on one of their weekend shows. It immediately reminded me of the Smith's Sharpener I own which is a non-flexible, ceramic "V" sharpener. It's ok, but doesn't doe scissors or anything serrated and does an ok job with Santoku Knives. What impressed me was the fact that the Block Sharpener uses a flexing sharpening system with "V" sharpening steels that flex to adapt to any blade. It also claimed to do serrated knives, axes, just about anything that still had a bevel. So I checked out their website but thought it was a bit too pricey. So low and behold, I find it on EBay! So I bought it. Guess what? I have gone around the house like a lunatic sharpening everything I can find and I can say that IT SAYS WHAT IT DOES AND DOES WHAT IT SAYS! Thank you Mr. Paul Block for such a simple, affordable, American Made solution that fills an everyday need every household has! This thing really works! Block sharpener
I can finally sharpen my knives myself!! This is one the best things I ever bought. I got 25 knives that I've sharpened. If u can sharpen it I did it. If I can get my blades& things sharp, anybody can do it. All my knives are hair shaving sharp. I dont want to slip when opening them that's for sure. Great for the price

Best in the field knife sharpener out there in my opinion!
At first I was unsure of it working because of the simple fact that every video I watched he would only cut page's of a magazine that is already thin and could be cut with any dull knife. It does seem to sharpen any knife that still has a edge but doesn't do to well with blades that require something more abrasive to sharpen it.
