Could have more pictures.
This manual is as good and bad as other Haynes manuals. All topics and systems are covered and described in the most basic detail. All of these type repair manuals have just enough details to keep you from going to far off course. You can disassemble and repair the engine just using this manual, but if you have no previous experience and limited mechanical know-how getting it right the first time is a toss up. A factory or dealership repair manual can be costly, or hard to get. Haynes manuals rarely show the actual part that you are working on, just where it is located, and certainly not the minor or major differences in small parts that could change over the course of the model years the manual covers. Not to mention the differences in trim packages and all the different options available. It is just to get you started in the right direction and to keep you from getting to far off the mark. These manuals have their place and it is for the shade tree mechanic and the people that want to do their own oil changes and basic maintenance. I am the owner of 7 different Haynes manuals, and find them very helpful. I just wish they were more pictures and were a bit more in depth especially for more of the systems that have a greater tendency to fail. Over all I recommend Haynes repair manuals, they have helped save me hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the years.

Handy reference book
These days you can find most repair information on the internet and that is invaluable but I still like having a repair book covering my specific model. The Haynes manuals are great for most repairs for most people. The biggest gripe is that they cover detailed teardown of the engine and transmission, neither of which the vast majority of people who buy this book would ever do. I'd rather see that space devoted to other areas. Overall though it's a good reference especially for clueless car owners that should know more about their vehicles, even if they never do their own work.

Shade Tree Mechanic?
I have been called a lot of things in my life, but I have never been called a mechanic! I am more of a parts replacer. This manual is great for a guy like me. Easy to understand and with enough pictures to help you along in your parts replacing. The only draw back that I can see is getting the manual greasy when you are performing the task at hand while looking up the needed information during the job.

Research & save !!!!!!!
I researched how to take my dash apart; to repair my interior and dash lighting problem... I figure I more than paid for the repair manual... Also, saved me time, which also compares to $$$$...

Great
Nice book for someone who works on their vehicle. It doesnt go into great detail but if you know the very basics on your own then you should have no problem using this.

Helps out when your trouble shooting or looking how to do medium sized jobs. I keep one for every vehicle.

as a do it yourself mechanic.have always depended on Haynes manuals for important info for repairs.extremely helpful.i have always bought one for any vehicle I have owned
