Niche quality for a really good price.
I first tried the original EN a few years ago when it had not long been released. I love it, extremely long lasting and a really nice unusual scent that grabs compliments. Has a very premium quality about it that you don't really get from other brands of a similar price. The L`extreme version is similar to the original but has a smoothness to it that makes it great for evenings. I wear it any time I can when it's cooler weather. The best thing about it is that it's not a super generic smell that everyone wears, so if you have good taste and want to smell a bit different then grab a bottle of this. Perfect , simply perfect.
If you're looking for a long lasting edp you've found it ! This lalique encre noir l' extreme is so suave , sophisticated , and classy. It's the type of edp that when you walk from room to room, you smell this amazing aroma , and think wow that's so nice, then you remember , you're wearing it ! It doesn't disappoint . It is a keeper . It's definitely amongst my top 10. If you're fed up with the overused typical (creed) etc. The encre noir l' extreme will put you league's above the masses. As for price , wow , you can't go wrong . I'd suggest you buy quickly , before it becomes a diserning guys classic.If you're looking for a long lasting edp you've found it ! Superb for layering or in it’s own right
The opening is fresh and zesty, even get a bergamot from it but then the Mr Hyde dry down starts. This is a great conversation starter, it is, after all called noir so the dry down turns into a journey of darkness and i have had many a woman ( not young sauvage girls) come up to make and ask what i am wearing. The opening is fresh, the dry down turns it dark but fruity and , finally, you get a very similar but more metallic version of the very expensive nasamatto black afgano. Be brave, at this price who cares. Personally i love being different and would hate having the same EDP on as most others. He who dares, wins. This is also a very good base upon which to layer other EDP’s. I like to use one spray of black afgano by nasamatto to 3 sprays of this, mix it then apply to wrists, upper ... I adore Lalique because they give the normal man a chance to smell like he has a very niche product Enjoy and see the true women come up and ask you what you are wearing.

More of an evening thing.
This has a woody dark odour, best suited for an evening out. Last pretty well and gains good comments. The only thing I would say that needs improving is the spray nozzle the outlet is hard to see, but that said you cant go far wrong.
