Evolving Revolver
Of all the Giles Martin Remixes....this is my favorite..I realize that this is subjective and only my opinion, derived from my ears and listening on MY system Over the years I have purchased all the "Upgrades" to this LP...Including the Japanese Vinyl, MFSL edition the 1987 CD issue, The 2009 Remaster and the MONO vinyl and CD. etc. This CD issue is, to me, the superior recording and will be my go to version. Since I no longer do vinyl I cannot compare the remix vinyl to the CD....Nor do I use headphones. All of the tracks have been improved with cleaner upfront vocals - more base and a wide soundstage...Elenore Rigby stands out as the best track...Separated string instruments (Violins and Cellos) with McCartney's vocal clear and centered make for an astounding listen...Taxman and Dr. Robert rock...For No One and Here There and Everywhere retain their tender delivery ( I have heard other listeners the these are recorded too loud) - I do not agree...once again...my ears...my opinion...Thanks for listening. Worth the extra cost

different but not better
as far as the flaws on digipak there was damage to the outside cover but the inside and the cd's were fine.so on to the sound.the first thing i noticed was the bass was boosted and the mix is more centered than the original stereo mix (2009 cd) and a little more clarity to everything.would i recommend this new versoin yes i would is it better than the old one not better just a different take on an old classic.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
