Synopsis
The Shenandoah Valley played a pivotal role in the American Civil War in Virginia, always influencing, and being influenced by, the major campaigns being fought in the East. Being a source of food, war materials, and a transportation nexus often brought the once idyllic valley to the forefront of the conflict. Can you stop the Union from destroying this resource? Can you prevent the Confederates from marching towards Washington, D. C. by the back door? These miniature wargame scenarios are designed to be used with almost any American Civil War regimental or brigade level set of rules. Rules are included for figures based on 20, 30, 40, 50, and 100 historic men per figure/stand. Times are given for 10, 15, and 20 minutes per game turn. Maps are in full color, as are the numerous color photographs of the modern battlefield. This book does not contain core rules for playing miniature wargames.
