Reviews
"The Life of our Lord is a brief, powerful exposé on the life of Christ that compels believers to passionately pursue Him and invites unbelievers to see the relentless love of God and the free gift of eternal life Jesus offers to those that would place their faith and trust in Him. I could not stop the tears from flowing as I read this intimate work Dickens wrote for his children's eyes only that so eloquently reminded me of my Savior's love for you and me. The Life of our Lord is a legacy work of art with greater value than any wealthy estate that must be passed down to your posterity." - Dr. Rollan Roberts II His Excellency; Advisor to African Governments

Synopsis
The Life of Our Lord is a unique and special book in that it, more than any other, reflects Dickens' love of God and faith in Jesus Christ. Within its pages, the great novelist unfolds the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, hand-written in the beautiful "Dickensian" prose the world has come to adore, specifically for his own children during their earlier years. This biographical sketch is not intended as a detailed chronology of the author's life and writings, but instead is primarily a reflection on the heart of the man and the primary motivation behind his great literary works--his faith in Christ and his love for his fellow man. With humility and adoration, we add this precious book to the distinguished Pure Gold Classics collection in anticipation and expectation that young and old alike will be richly blessed by the simplicity and warmth of the story of the life of our Savior that Dickens left as a blessing to the world and a glorious testimony of his own personal relationship with the Lord.

- e***u (283)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufThe listing was for a hardcover version of this book; however, I received a paperback. The Seller replied quickly to my question about this issue and issued a full refund - and let me keep the book. So, a diligent Seller for sure - and well packaged and reasonable timing on shipping. Thank you for the refund, and as you suggested, I'll likely donate this volume and seek the hardcover.
- e***n (392)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufGreat transaction, exactly as described, packed well, and promptly shipped on August 6th. Unfortunately the U.S. Postal Service took 23 calendar days to deliver the book. It was shipped from Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, past Alabama to Texas, enjoyed several days in Texas, then to Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Florida, back to Atlanta, finally to Birmingham, and Huntsville. The seller was very responsive and I decided it was interesting to see if/how the book would arrive. - n***7- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufItem came shipped very well packaged and shipped very quickly. Also product was as described seeming in good condition. However I had a slight issues with the item(could have been damaged by carrier not sure) but seller made good with a full refund immediately after I contacted them about the issue. I would do business again based on the excellent customer service and would highly recommend seller.
