  • Fun to read but lacking integrity

There are only two pages per chapter, and each chapter ends with a reference to a scientific study. The stories are short and entertaining, and each concludes with a clear moral message. The references to each scientific study are short, concise, and full of value. Or so it appears. I reviewed several of the studies cited in the book and not a single one of them supports the author's position. Not one. That doesn't mean there aren't any, but if a random sampling of 5-10 produce zero, the odds aren't good of any actually being bona fide. My advice? Check out this book if you like easy-to-read stories. Look elsewhere if you want solid, science-backed evidence. You will also want to look elsewhere if you want to read books by an author with integrity. I know I will.
