    I have a 2013 Cadillac XTS with a soft canvas top and forever black top gel did wonders it took two bottles not perfect but better looking and it were cheaper than a $1.200/1.500 new top i am happy (only problem I wish the company made a dark brown)

    Easy to use and afterwards put a heavy coat of canvas waterproofing as my bmw has a canvas type cloth top. Looks Great!!!

    I recommend this Forever Black. I put it on my 2008 BMW 128i soft top just to renew the looks of the top. Because the top is a canvas type material the dye done a great job and was easy to use. After washing the top and letting it completely dry in the sun I brought the car into the garage and mask off the car and back window. The Forever Black went on easy Using the applicator supplied and the 8oz bottle will easily do 2 tops. It’s important to throughly go both directions so no streaking occurs. After putting on 2 coats of the Forever Black and letting it dry for couple hours, I applied a heavy coat of waterproof tent spray just to give the top a good water repellent. Next day I used a soft brush on my shop vac just to go over the top to “soften” the look of the top.

    Somewhat disappointed

    Although it didn't do any harm, I found that it did not produce results like the picture used to advertise it. I didn't find that it "renewed" the look of the top, nor did it cover some grayish/faded spots like I had hoped. You may have better results than I did. I just wanted to share my experience with it. I might add, that NOTHING else I tried, including paint, covered those spots, either.

    My faded top is more faded

    My soft top drink this gel like it was water and then it faded the black instead of enhance the black I had to continue to put it on because it made my soft top two colors but I only used it on one side and that one side is faded I'll have to find another solution to cover the faded side
