Excellent Quality and Value
With the Pi4 out now it means that Pi3's such as this are now unbelievable value. Don't get me wrong a top spec Pi4 running a light Linux Distribution is a pretty decent desktop alternative but the Pi3 is still perfect for the original concept of learning coding and small manufacturing jobs such as making a home media hub. I have a couple of different single board computers and tbh the Pi is by far and away the most stable and best supported. I bought this as it is an absolute bargain. It is going in a nice clear acrylic case complete with heat Sinks and a fan along with a nice kit of electronic components and a circuit board. I am hoping that my young son gets into a bit of electronics, enginering and coding. That was the original idea behind the Pi; even if he doesn't get into coding I will set it up as a desktop and I might well have another Sd card set up as a retro games station. Has its place in its niche.
