The DVD of the real Buddy Holly Story is great thank you for the listing so I could order
This product arrived a lot quicker than I thought which is wonderful I truly enjoy Paul McCartney's version of the real Buddy Holly Story because it fills in the gaps that the movie The Buddy Holly Story did not cover Mr McCartney takes the time to interview important people to make the story complete thank you for listing this so I'm was able to order thank you again

Buddy Holly...Paul's movie.
This is a must have for any fan of Buddy Holly and told by people who knew him as opposed to the Hollywood version which entertaining as it was is fiction....this dvd was very insightful and obviously put together with a lot of love and a desire to set the record straight...it shows Buddy to be an engaging young man with a lot of ambitious talent and one of the things that is also poignant it that this movie allows the drummer of the crickets to have his day in court regarding what a serious musician he is and was along with the bass player and all who worked with Buddy....and of course...Paul gets a few words in there as well...I have a lot of music dvds and this is a personal favorite....it's actually as fun to watch as the Hollywood movie and certainly more informative...

Sir Paul tells it like it was.
Gary Busey was very entertaining in his performance as Buddy but very off the mark as far as a realistic portrayal. This video is the real deal told by those who knew Buddy best. Buddy is gone but his music lives on. A true musical legend.

True to life!
The way Buddy's life was depicted was as true to the norm as possible! I enjoyed his struggles to get to the top in his life! Too bad it had to end so early and tragically!

The Truth
A must have for any real Buddy Holly fan. Paul Mc Cartney did his homework well. It far surpasses that Hollywood garbage with Gary Busey.
