This is my second unit. The first one blew out when connected to a charged up capacitor less than 25 volts. So not a robust meter, by any means, but very useful for diodes, transistors, etc. Do not use on capacitors over 10 uf, 15 volts and always discharge the capacitors. There are other ESR testers (for a lot more money) that do a superior job, like the Capacitor Wizard!
