Awesome GPS
This is my third Garmin GPS. The others are still working it was just time for a upgrade. I love Garmins GPSs, they have never let me down. This one is awesome. It can Bluetooth sync with your phone to deliver real time traffic updates, weather, weather radar, phone messages on screen, and hands free calling. The screen looks great and is very touch responsive. The 3D maps are nice, and it’s extremely accurate. Also the “Hey Garmin feature is really handy, just say “Hey Garmin” and it will pull up a menu of commands. Just wanted I needed.
I bought this to replace a Garmin 52 movie that was 16 years old and didn't have a very good pixel any longer. This one I love the big screen easy to read without my reading glasses lot of features still figuring everything out on it. I also need to mention this is on my Harley-Davidson touring bike. Great item and good value.
This Garmin is great. The screen is big and screen is user friendly. It is similar to other Garmin GPS item's so a person is not learning all over again. But if it is new, it would be easy for them. Great GPS
Updated map and is working wonderful. I like the voice command feature. Having the life time map updates is a plus. I use the Garmin drive app to display the weather and traffic info. I would recommend this GPS over using your cell phone since you get a much better coverage area from the satilittes instead of just using cellular sites. I really like this GPS. The 71 is bigger...
I really like this GPS. The 71 is bigger than my old one. It's easier to read, shows you speed and the speed limit, beeps at school zones, changing speed limits, railroad crossings or whatever you choose. If your speeding it will change the speed displayed with red highlights around speed. It has a traffic feature that makes the road with congestion turn red. Garmain v Toyota Prius Gen 2 navigation.
It's good. However, my Gen 2 Toyota Prius is in many ways better. Provides earlier navigation, on up coming turns, has better map displays and it displays miles remaining to destination and hours and minutes of driving left rather than the Garmain which displays time of arrival. Easy to find Address Locations
Easy to follow instructions after installing the Garmin APP and registering. After maps and system tools is updated, then it's easy to put the Garmin on the road of finding locations and activating sound on directions. Love it!
After reading several bad reviews on the cheaper versions, I splurged for this upgraded version, which had much better reviews. And this one delivers! It is accurate, the touch screen is way more responsive than the older models, the voice command feature is great, the larger screen is easier to see but not too obtrusive, which I was worried it might be. Garmin Smart Drive 71
This was easy to set up. It actually gets information from the apps off my phone, like weather and road conditions. I work Emergency Incidents (wildfire, search and rescue, floods etc.) so this is important. I do wish I had a better choice of vehicle icons and voices. So not into hearing a female voice giving directions. Love the truck, but does it have to be a 'monster truck'? These are petty compared to other great things this does! This unit grabs my phone as soon as I turn it on, even if I am using my headset. The voice quality and clarity is astonishing! Much better than my headset, and I don't sound like I am 'under water' to the person I am speaking with. (This was an issue with the last three GPS units I had.) This unit was less expensive then the Smart Drive 55 that I had, it died and I had to replace it. Less expensive and far better in every way. Makes me happy!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
