Overall a great little easy to use companion just for GPS with preloaded NA
This little beast finds a great compromise between size, ease to handle and latest functionality in GPS handling. The unit is small and easy to handle and can also serve as a pedestrian helper when you walk in the City and then need to find back to your car. The build in memory of 2GB allows for all large TomTom maps to be baught and run on the system, in case you plan a trip to Europe or other areas. Latest Map IQ technology allows for time and traffic dependent routes and the text to speech feature even reads you the streetname of the next road you take. The TomTom concept of map sharing allows for automatic updates for years to come without any extra costs. Compared to other TomTom units, it is smaller and easier to use for any travel, also the menus are simpler and not all features ... EASE == easier menu structure. Also compared to more expensive units from TomTom, the tone of speaker is a little "cheap" but o.k. and features like TMC or Bluetooth are missing as well.

Great Little GPS. Easy To Use, Super Accurate
I love this GPS and for a basic model it has way more than I need and find it very easy to use with great accuracy. The amount of destinations in this thing are awesome and I like that you can see different stores, restaurants, etc on the map while you are driving down the road so you know when you are approaching one of those destinations. I have had this for a few months now and whenever I need to use it, it has worked wonderfully and I have never had a problem with getting where I need to go. This always has a good satellite signal and the battery life is very good too, I can charge it in the car and then use it unplugged for a long time before it needs charging again. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a basic GPS that has a ton of functions and is very easy to ... TomTom Ease
I used the the Tom Tom the first time this weekend. It was easy to operate and it was right on the money telling me close to the final destination on when to turn. To me it beats going on mapquest and printing directions. If I was traveling every month I would have gotten a bigger screen but the resolution was great on this one and really like the size didnt get in the way. If something happened to this one I would buy the same one again, it was a great buy for the money. If you take a trip every couple of months this one is great. I bought the TomTom to guide me in a big city I'll be moving to and to aide my long distance traveling. I love the different features available; tells me my speed, my ETA, distance to next turn and total distance, locations of nearest, and not so nearest, Petrol stations so I could calculate which one I could make it to, and has a day/night display. It is easy to update street names and other details too. I have nothing negative to say about the TomTom because it did it's job. I'm so happy with my purchase. I never have owned a GPS unit before the purchase of my TomTom EASE. The TomTom EASE is at its name implies, easy to use. I purchased it for a long trip form from LA to MD. Although I didn't consult a map and I didn't completely trust the TomTom, I only got misdirected when I failed to listen to its suggestions and missed some road signs. Even after choosing the wrong direction, the TomTom instantly rerouted my trip and allowed me to make the necessary corrections. Pro: simple to use. Con: suction cup stiffens in cold weather, causing the unit to fall (direct some hot air to the windshield). I suggest becoming familiar with your trip's route and then trust the TomTom.
