I've gained after surgery. They seem strong and good quality, I don't feel worried about getting snapped in the face with these. Just use common sense don't over stretch one band if needed move to a higher or combine bands. They're a decent value for the money, Obviously they arrived new and the colors help identify the correct weight and looks nice too. Bag too.
