Received a totally different product, model number, color and contacted seller about it. Seller was adamant about being accurate in their listing, the description claiming a “wavy attachment only” when the product received clearly was a different item all together. When asked about a partial refund, got measly cents back, not even 50%. Photos of the listing vs what I received. As a fellow seller I know negative feedback hurts, but one should be courteous about your own mistake.

  • Hot Springs is a hot read.

Earl Swagger, Medal of Honor on Iwo Jima finds himself leading a band of young policemen on a special mission to clean up Hot Springs, a city enmeshed in crime and corruption. His chief foes are the cosa nostra and his own superiors, corrupt politicians out for their own gain. Extremely well written and tightly plotted the story follows his adventures from triumph to tragedy. But can he triumph again? In order to do so he must conquer his own fears and slay his inner dragons before he can deal with the evil he finds himself enmeshed in. A compelling read from a fine contemporary author.

  • Great crime action and mystery in a historical setting

Stephen Hunter does it again. Introduces Earl Swagger who is Bobby Lee Swagger's father(Point of Impact novel/Shooter movie) hired straight out of the USMC to ramrod a group of young law enforcement officers into a raid team to assist in cleaning the crime and corruption out of post WW-2 Hot Springs Arkansas. Being somewhat familiar with Hot Springs the locations are pretty much spot on. And I've walked some of the same streets mentioned in the book. Maybe even slept in the same "motor lodge" once or twice when down there for the races. Action intrigue with a bit of a psychological mystery thrown in as well.
