Kohler only likes OEM
OEM Kohler engine air filter. I had an aftermarket air filter on my home standby natural gas fueled generator.. Looked identical to the OEM one. One MAJOR problem. The engine refused to start with the aftermarket air filter. The OEM filters are triple the price of aftermarket ones, but found some cheaper on E-Bay. Installed the new OEM Kohler filter, and the engine started right up ! Obviously there was a difference in these filters. I personally believe Kohler engineered it to be this way to buy their parts, but who knows. That being said, I'm sticking with ALL Kohler parts for this engine ( oil filters, air filters, spark plugs ). When the lights go out in the middle of a storm.., I don't want to go out and try to get a generator running. Lesson learned. You win you finicky Kohler engine.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Not Kohler
I doubt that this is a Kohler part. There are no Kohler markings on the part of the box. The box does say it is made in China. The manufacturing quality looks fine. I just hope it fits and works like the OEM part. It should not be advertised as a Kohler part though and that's why I only have it 3 stars.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
