    This was as pictured. The other item in the same shipment was not the edition and cover ordered and I was very disappointed about that. Looking at other recent reviews it seems other buyers have the same complaints - they send you any old cover and not the one you wanted and chose specifically because of their photo. Second frequent comment is true too - very flimsy packaging, but the books were fine. I'd say if you want a specific cover do NOT order from this seller. Otherwise fine.

    Thank you but in the future...

    I love Game of Thrones and I am thrilled at the value here. Free S+H was a bonus. However, I'm a bit disappointed that they were shipped in a padded envelope. The paper was tearing off of it in multiple places, so I could tell that it wasn't going to look good. When I opened the package, I found all five DVD cases destroyed. The cardboard was completely crushed and the plastic lining with the disc holders was smashed with pieces everywhere. One of the discs from season two was cracked in the clear plastic inner ring, but it and every other disc play just fine. When it comes down to it, they play and it's good, but I'll never be able to display them on my shelf in the generic DVD cases that I've had to put them in. I would gladly have paid a few extra dollars to pack the items in a box for ...

    Best Fantasy Series Ever

    If you are a fan of fantasy, there is nothing not to like about the Game of Thrones. The characters are engaging, the story line intriguing and you will never tire of the special effects, grand and glorious scenery and well, just all of it. Get ready to be swept into a land that never was, that seems more real than what is. Great escape, magical & fun!

    Very well written, extremely addicting plot

    I can't believe I actually waited as long as I have to start this series, it's undoubtably in my top 3, I've just passed the First Season and there were no let downs, surprise after surprise, at some points it can be a little predictable but then it has a habit of throwing a bunch curveballs all over the place. One thing to note is that it is a very violent, gore-filled film and there is A LOT of sexual content, it's definitely for an older teenager or adult show, no young kids. If you can, buy the entire series, it's a considerably better deal as a bundle than buying them individually. Edit: I've bypassed all 6 seasons and am currently watching the 7th season live, as it airs. This show is the most addicting show I've ever watched, it's hasn't let me down even once, it just keeps on ...
