A windfall for cartoon collectors, DICK TRACY - THE COMPLETE ANIMATED SERIES brings together under one cover all 130 episodes of the early 1960s cartoon program. Although the series was made by Dick Tracy creator Chester Gould, it differs from Gould's dark strip in its light, slapstick tone. Exaggerated characters like Jo Jitsu, Go Go Gomez, and Hemlock Holmes are Tracy's cohorts in fighting the evil figures Flat Top, Mumbles, and Prune Face. The series' sleek, minimal style is nicely representative of the era's animation, and the handsome package make this a welcome addition to any cartoon library.

The books were well packaged ( there was something gooey on a plastic bag used as packing) and placed in a cardboard box. Books are in great condition, as described and at a great price.
