The Onkyo TX-NR515 network receiver is loaded with features and can allow you to connect all your peripheral accessories and devices through HDMI technology for easy display on your television. Perfect for home theaters and video listening and viewing through headphones or speakers, the Onkyo TX-NR515 has a custom program called InstaPrevue. It makes connecting and managing multiple devices through your network receiver much easier by providing a live video thumbnail of the available content on the device. With InstaPrevue, you know which peripheral is connected to which port on the receiver without having to do an all-out search through menus. Music aficionados love the many popular options available through the Onkyo TX-NR515 receiver. Access your music from Pandora, Slacker, SIRIUS XM, Rhapsody, Spotify, and others for a large and robust set of audio pleasures. Connect to the Internet and receive input and output either wirelessly or via the USB port. Enjoy wireless connectivity through the Onkyo Remote App 2 for iPod touch and iPhone. Onkyo provides Remote for Android and Kindle Fire and facilitates an easier way to run Onkyo network A/V receivers. With the Android and Kindle Fire Remote, you can control input sources, adjust settings, and play stored audio wirelessly. The app can be downloaded quickly. Additionally, the A/V receiver houses a USB port that allows you to play MP3 and AAC stored in iPods and iPhones. The front-panel USB port also provides access to WMA, AAC, and Flac audio files stored on a flash drive device. Then simply use the Onkyo TX-NR515 remote control to select soundtracks, do playbacks, and make other selections. Video and high definition television fans have much to love about these HDMI receivers. They come with a remarkable ability to upscale standard video sources and enhance the resolution and audio of your Blu-rays, DVDs, and television channels. As long as you have a 4K widescreen display on your television, you can use the QDEO video processor, which engages algorithms to enlarge the video you are playing to 4k while erasing feathering. A video is re-born to a new digital HDMI presentation with unbelievable results. Onkyo has also enabled this receiver to connect other mobile devices and accessories, such as your smartphone, and to display full 1080p video and still images in high definition with outstanding sound quality. And then there is Oyo's Audyssey room corrector. Check out this resolution filter that measures three room positions and adjusts to ensure the best audio acoustics from the speakers. It also makes adjustments during those commercials wherein the volume appears to rocket to a drastically increased level from the speakers. Last but not least, Audyssey maintains a consistent bass response, tonal balance, and surround-sound effect at different levels so volume does not affect the sound quality on audio channels. These same audio enhancements are enjoyed through headphones, too.     Everything was packaged well, and was a terrific value, with the special offer added in. Shipping was great, and the radio looked just as it was described. Unfortunately, the band selector switch means this one is stuck being a weather radio, which isn't what was expected. The seller was prompt in issuing a refund, and I highly recommend this Ebayer!

    Better than new!

    Buying this remanufactured Onkyo receiver was an excellent move. I had the exact same model and was happy with it, but it crapped out on me. It was going to cost me a minimum of $100 to get it looked at, and potentially double that to get it repaired, if it was repairable. Buying this remanufactured product was a no-brainer. And this one really did work better than my original when I bought it new. (I never could get the wireless to work on the original, but it worked instantly on this remanufactured unit.) It's a complicated system, but outstanding power and sound. I was very happy, and would definitely use these people again.

    Top performer

    A classic receiver that lacks a few recent bells and whistles, but reliably delivers superb sound. Easy to set up. The calibration is somewhat tedious, but if time is not of the essence, you can tailor the sound to match your system and taste perfectly.

    Good quality at a good price

    Works and looks exactly as described. Arrived well packed, AHEAD of schedule. Worked out of the box. Great signal for audio and video, fairly easy set up without the remote.

    Wish I went with a different brand

    Reciever worked great for 2 weeks then got the dreaded dsp chip failure. Very disappointing

    to replace a receiver

    Everything work on the receiver only tiny issue was one of the speaker inputs was cracked was able to get the speaker connected but other than that the device is fine.
