Functional product at an economical price
So far so good. I haven't tried any other string brands but chose these after reading lots of positive reviews about D'Addario. The price was economical, and for my level (near beginner), the performance of these strings is more than adequate. Almost great.

Why look further?
As a beginner I was recommended these strings. A well known, readily available brand with a reputation for consistent quality and reasonable price, I have never felt a need to change or to look for an alternative. Not top of the range but top in performance!
A while ago I purchased a used Admira A5 classical guitar to replace the one I had used for many years. The strings were passed their best so I changed them for Daddario Pro Arte EJ145 since the reviews were favourable. Although they were OK and played nicely I never felt the instrument was quite as responsive as it should be. I tried other strings but was never quite satisfied. Having read the positive reviews of these EJ127Ns I thought for the price they were worth a try. I have to say that from the outset even allowing for the settling-in period these strings have transformed the guitar. It is now beautifully balanced tonally, wonderfully responsive, and feels effortless to play. It just goes to show that the more expensive is not always the best. Clearly marked and easy to fit.

Ok quality but not properly labelled
Strings are fine and can't fault the quality. Just annoyed that they've tried to save 5p by packaging them all in one plastic pouch, instead of separating them and can't even be bothered to label each string. put clear tags on each string, Very Difficult to sort the strings out for a student
