    Keep your head down !

    These head bolts are the best out there , the washers keep the bolt hole opening from cracking and chipping away under the stress of the bolt head . Clean up the bolt holes in your block by running a bottoming tap down each hole - follow up with brake clean and a blast of air . Use the lube supplied on the threads and on the bottom lip of the bolt head. torque the bolts in progressive increments from the center -outward . This procedure and the ARP bolts will give you years of trouble free sealing issues.

    Don't buy the knock offs

    ARP head bolts are the on head bolts to buy. Don't buy the 20 dollar cheeper knock offs sold on eBay. I learned that the hard way after I broke the number 1 bolt in my block putting 70 foot pounds on it after 50-60 3 step increments. Do yourself a favor buy ARP took me 2 hours to get the broken bolt out of my block and 75 bucks on top of the 55 I spent on the crap bolts. ARP are the best.
