    Another great Hori controller

    If you're not familiar with Hori, they've been making great third-party controllers going back to the 8-bit era and many of them easily surpass first-party controllers in quality and intuitiveness. This one is not an exception. If you ever had a classic Game Boy growing up, this will hit home. It looks and it feels like a classic Game Boy. While unfortunately, I do not have my childhood SNES anymore, I do have SNES and Game Boy emulators working with original controllers via a Mayflash USB adapter and the controller work just great. It has many extra functions that can be used on the actual Super Game Boy, and there are a few YouTube videos showing its amazing functionalities. Overall, this controller is not only recommended for the classic gamers out there but a must for the avid ...

    Hori SGB Commander for Super Nintendo/Super Game Boy

    I own the generation 2 SNES (NTSC). That's the smaller SNES without the cartridge eject button. I am an avid collector of game boy games (especially games designed for use with the Super Game Boy). The Hori SGB Commander, in my opinion, should have been a pack-in with the Super Game Boy, because it is the only controller to allow full functionality of the Super Game Boy. I can now slow down the speed of a game for those difficult jumps or those times when split second decisions are necessary. I can also mute the sound too, all from the pressing of a button on the controller. If you like game boy games and play them via a Super Game Boy, then this controller is worth importing from Japan. The controller is well built too.
