Styx's 2nd best album ever
Styx's best album ever was the Grand Illusion. Even their Keyboardist, Dennis De Young says Grand Illusion is the best. But, PIeces of Eight is a close second! It's chock full of fantastic songs... Renegade, Sing For The Day, Great White Hope, I'm OK, Blue Collar Man, Seriously...there isn't a bad track on the album. Even the more pretentious songs like Lords of the Ring and Queen of Spades are excellent pieces. There are two instrumentals...The Message and Aku-Aku (well, technically Aku-Aku does have the words "aku aku" spoken a few times in the song...but otherwise instrumental. Any Styx fan must have this album!

Classic Styx!
Classic Styx, at their finest- I like this and Equinox better than their later works. I mean, Mr Roboto had it's time in history, but as far as classic styx goes, this is the shiznit!
