Great tires for concrete and grass
I run quite a bit in a skatepark and in grass. With high bite tires, traction rolls happen a lot when turning. The chevron pattern tends to let it slide a bit in the turns on grass so it doesn't traction roll as much. Also, the chevron pattern helps to cushion the bead when running on concrete better than other tread patterns. After a while with stock revo tires, concrete compresses the edge of the tire on landing which causes the rim to cut the bead. These seem to hold up much longer. These are useless tires in the snow as when they get cold, they get harder and you get very little traction. I run a softer compound/tread pattern in the winter when I do run.
I run a set of these on traxxas geode rims on my savage and both my revo's.
