Very POORLY DESIGNED Controller - VIZIO
This controller is VERY POORLY DESIGNED!!!! The buttons press on little bubbles over the contacts, but within two years the bubble coatings that insure contact get worn and so it will not activate. This forces actions such as pressing harder that just makes the wear worse. It NEEDS MUCH BETTER contact to insure the button is pushed. In addition, the buttons are so SMALL it is hard to press the right one unless held flat, with good light, and concentrating on the controller. The controller also has a VERY NARROW BEAM. This makes it very hard to determine if it is pointed at the receiver and all these problems compound each other making the controller very poorly designed. I would NOT recommend buying any VIZIO product that must use a controller until it is completely redesigned.

Better than original
The back where you put batteries in is better than the original design. Much easier to change batteries, and the back doesn’t come off when dropped. I did not have to program it, so unsure why it asks if it was easy to program. The only complaint I have is the buttons around the ok button on this replacement are rubber, and I’m used to the hard plastic ones on the original. That’s my only complaint.

Great replaement remote, but is easily broken.
It's exactly like the one the is broken. Which brings up the only negative point: The product is easy to break just by dropping it. Most of the time it's just the back that comes off and the batterys fall out, but some times the case comes apart.

Great Remote
My old remote broke and bought this one and it was so easy to use. I didn't even have to program. I do have a Vizio smart TV if that made the difference.

better than original Visio remote
Bought this to replace the original Visio remote that came with my TV. This seems to be significantly better made and works perfectly for the TV. The old remote came apart frequently especially is accidentally dropped, eventually the clips break and you have to resort to tape to hold it together. Just bought it so we will see how it holds up.

Good value
Netflix and Amazon links are ok. I wish it had YouTube and eBay links. Mine was pre-programmed with no instructional. Needs programming instructions.

Good replacement, not Visio brand
Good replacement for Visio remote. Buttons are in same location and all seems to work well.
