The original Eagles compilation, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, remains one of the best-selling records of all time and this updated two CD collection contains all the same hallmarks that made it so successful, with some welcome surprises. The staple recordings remain, with 'Hotel California' the most immediately recognizable, as well as hits like 'Lyin' Eyes' and 'New Kid in Town'. Also included is their single 'Hole in the World', written as a response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Like many of The Eagles' songs, the difficult and confrontational subject matter is softened by their trademark vocal harmonies.

Brings back the GOOD memories :)

Quality sound, great price, great compilation of their best hit songs.
Since the days of bootleg 8 track tapes I have been leery of anything import but this is a quality production of original music. Takes me back to my early adult life when this kind of music was on every radio station and juke box. A lot of younger people won't know what I am talking about, but in my humble opinion this was the golden age of music! Eagles best

"A Classic American Band"
This may not have "EVERY" song you want, and one or two you don't, but what it has for the price is well worth the bang for the buck. The 5.1 listening is a joy to behold with any newer "re-mastering" of a disc, and this is a newer release, not current, but newer, and that's good.
