A great movie about a great pilot

Brief review of "Reach for the Sky"

Reach for the Sky Review
Kenneth Moore did an excellent job of portraying Bader, especially his agony during his transition into an invalid and then into a person with legs again, albeit "tin" ones. Different view of the 'BATTLE OF BRITAIN'
Uplifting story of a man who lost both legs in an aircraft crash. Who went on to fly again in combat during WWII. Full length movie, over twenty minutes longer than TCM version. Must watch.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Amazing true story well presented.
Very nicely done-especially noteworthy is the high degree of correlation between the movie and the book of the same name. Not often seen, and refreshing. I’d reccommend finding both as the book naturally fleshes out the story a bit more.....but I’d rate this film among the very best of it’s kind and especially nice to have on dvd.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
