The Asus P8Z77-V PRO works as a replacement for an OEM stock part or for building a custom computer system. This LGA 1155 socket motherboard supports AMD Quad CrossFireX technology. The Asus motherboard also features SMART DIGI+ technology, which provides the system a boost so it performs at a higher speed. Some of the other key features for the Asus P8Z77-V PRO include dual intelligent processors, Wi-Fi GO!, Fan Xpert 2, and USB 3.0 Boost. Fan Xpert 2 enables users to customize the fan settings in the computer. Wi-Fi GO! adds speed and signal to DLNA streaming and remote desktop settings. In addition, USB 3.0 Boost enhances the speed at which this LGA 1155 socket motherboard transfers information sent from a USB 3.0 device. A total of 18 USB port connections are located within the configuration of this Asus motherboard, and eight of those are USB 3.0. This is also a plug-and-play device.     Probably one of the best motherboard for 2nd and 3rd gen Intel gaming pc's !!

    I really got no cons to say, the only thing bothering me is the absence of thunderbolt ex parts on the market (starts with thunderbolt EX 2&3 so don't expect adding one) But so far i'd say it's totally uselessly since on every game i've gain a lot of FPS on game, It really keeps the Cpu cooled down with the right heatsink and have so many options as long you get the right cpu for it, it's well built and will probably last but I think i'm good for some years now even if it's for 2nd and 3rd gen intel this motherboard is insanely well made, It makes the best outta 2nd and 3rd gen CPU (on my previous mobo the gt 1030 couldn't achieve good performance on Ghost Recon Wildlands no matter what on Win 10... was running fine under win 7... direct x problems :P) and just with this mobo + my i3 2120 ...

    Good deal!

    This was a replacement for the same model mb I had. I had trouble removing an dvd drive and when I finally got it to slide out, it hit two capacitors on the original mb. This new mb is performing as well as the old one used to.

    Small minus - took one star

    Small minus When i opened the package i noticed a darkened PCIe connector. Apparently the result of overclocking? Works, however - at least.yet.

    Asus p8z77-V- Pro

    My Asus motherboard went south,so replaced it with p8z77-pro. Also replaced my Asus water cooler. Computer is running perfect.
