One of the best Doctor Who stories
The Doctor and companions land on a battlefield; it's the Western Front, 1917. It's soon clear that the war isn't the real Great War, but an elaborate re-enactment. It's a long serial, with a slight feeling of the script being scraped over more episodes than needed, but still very engaging. Watch it day by day, not in one binge. Patrick Troughton's last outing as the Doctor, essential viewing for any Doctor Who enthusiast.
