    Good Value complete parts kit

    All of the parts that are required to replace both bearings in the front load washer are supplied. there are two different types of seals supplied, one for each version of washer (earlier model vs. later model) They did not supply the plastic tool used for installing the seal which then forces you to improvise one yourself.

    end of noisey spin cycle

    This is a great kit for a common problem. I used to work on maytag appliances. I've made this type repair to many customers washers. This kit has every part need to repair both styles of wash baskets. The included instructions are complete and simple to follow. I would highly recommend this kit for both the low price and all parts and instructions included.

    Got rid of the noisy machine!

    Just what I needed to fix my Maytag. Total R & R was 7 hours including cleaning all of the mess inside the machine and drum. It had been making noice for a long time. The inboard bearing had started to stick to the shaft. It was a real chore to get the drum out and so was getting the ring off the spinner shaft. Bearings came out hard. Nothing my BFH couldn’t handle. Put everything back together and she is nice and quite again. The originals lasted 17 years. Let’s see if she will run another 17.

    Neptune bearings

    These are much cheaper than a known quality brand. What can I say, they work. No more knocking from my washer, chewing up the tub and throwing the belt off. Kit comes with both old and updated style seals- a plus if you have yet to dismantle your machine.

    It would have been great it the early seal was the correct outside diameter. It would have gotten 5 stars if it fitted correctly.

    From the entire kit I only needed the early stile seal. Shipping of the kit was fast, no relays. I had to use the early stile seal in my washer. It fitted loose in the washer, no compression at all. The outside diameter was too small. Too make it fit I had to put RTV adhesive/sealant around the outside diameter of the seal, then put it into the washer. So far after 6 washes I have no leaks, hoping it will continue to seal. Only 3 stars because it did not fit correctly.
