Linda Ronstadt commands the country-rock wheel!
When I was growing up, Linda Ronstadt ruled the Top 40 radio stations like she was born to it! DJs would nestle a Ronstadt single between some Motown or some Fleetwood Mac, even country stations could sneak in some Ronstadt, because beyond her distinctive voice she had unmatched musicality: her choice of material was uncannily tactile. HEART LIKE A WHEEL was her 8th studio album and her 5th solo album; this is the album where she strung her musical gifts together like a diamond necklace. Songs from Paul Anka (It Doesn't Matter Anymore), Phil Everly (When Will I Be Loved) and Hank Williams (I Can't Help It If I'm Still In Love With You) blend seamlessly with newer tracks into a remarkable soundtrack of residence in the Heartbreak Hotel. Must Have If You Are a Fan.
Anyone who is a fan will love this CD. It has two of her mega-hits but the song I bought it for was "Faithless Love". Great Album.

Her best album.
Never could be better collection of material. Her voice is superb. Saw her in concert in 1970.

Break-Out Album
This is a good CD, some of Linda's best work - it was her break-out album back in the 70's. Fun listening to one of the best singers in the biz.

Heart like a Wheel
Linda Ronstadt could sing the phone book and I would listen. She is the best female singer I grew up listening to. Great CD!

Another Excellent Album by Linda Ronstadt
All of the albums of Linda Ronstadt are excellent, and you can't go wrong buying this one. I enjoyed it very much !!!
