Reviews
Kisin has written a lively and spirited book defending the society he is grateful to have found himself in. If I can return the compliment, we are lucky to have him.

Synopsis
For all the West's failings - terrible food, cold weather, and questionable politicians with funny hair to name a few - it has its upsides. Konstantin would know. Growing up in the Soviet Union, he experienced first-hand the horrors of a socialist paradise gone wrong, having lived in extreme poverty with little access to even the most basic of necessities. It wasn't until he moved to the UK that Kisin found himself thriving in an open and tolerant society, receiving countless opportunities he would never have had otherwise. Funny, provocative and unswervingly perceptive, An Immigrant's Love letter to the West interrogates the developing sense of self-loathing the Western sphere has adopted and offers an alternative perspective. Exploring race politics, free speech, immigration and more, Kisin argues that wrongdoing and guilt need not pervade how we feel about the West - and Britain - today, and that despite all its ups and downs, it remains one of the best places to live in the world. After all, if an immigrant can't publicly profess their appreciation for this country, who can?, For all the West's failings - terrible food, cold weather, and questionable politicians with funny hair to name a few - it has its upsides. MISSOURI GOODWILL INDUSTRIES (145329) , has come through again as being a great seller. Ordered ADAM -12 tv series season one from them and they shipped it out fast and well wrapped up for the journey. It arrived earlier than listed and in perfect condition. I got it for more than half the price as it was selling new, and cheeper than the other used ones were. They listed it as GOOD, but it was easily a VERY GOOD , as new minus the wrapper. Great seller and series

Shopping on eBay is always a satisfying experience. As a collector, I can always find satisfactory items here. The seller has a gentle and pleasant attitude, responds promptly, ships quickly, and the items are delivered to the destination safely and reliably. The packaging is also quite good, showing the seller's best efforts. Communication is smooth and timely, and the seller patiently answers questions. I'm also satisfied with the item I received. All in all, it's a great experience. Thank you

This was a great value for a book that arrived in even better condition than described! It was nicely packaged inside an appropriately-sized bubble wrap envelope, and it was shipped promptly. Very happy customer here, and I will shop this seller's store again!
