Tweak and Beautiful Boy - Buy them, Read Them, Watch the Film
Tweak - written by the son Beautiful Boy - written by the father I have read both books and watched the film - Beautiful Boy Compulory reading and viewing for all parents - the sad thing is once his son is 18 he can't force him into rehab and in some places you may argue it's not suitable viewing for younger kids By the time it is .... it may be too late Interestingly in another unrelated film ''Cass'' it references a shift from football ''hooliganism'' to drugs Again another uncomfortable film but another interesting insight Do I recommend Tweak - yes - I would recommend both books Harrowing in part, but incredibly valuable accounts and insights into the thoughts, feelings and impact of drugs from two perspectives in the one family.
