AWESOME CD
Excellent CD! I have listened to it over and over since I received it a week ago. I had this in the 80's when it was released in cassette form. I loved it then, but somehow disappeared over the years. I forgot just how awesome this music was. I ran across this CD on ebay and decided to order it based on what I remembered. It did not disappoint!!! What an awesome collection of songs by some of the greatest singers of all time!! Couldn't stop from toe-tapping along with some of the songs. One of the best purchases I have made in a while.. Don't hesitate to buy it. Also the shipping was so quick I had it in two days even though I chose standard free shipping. Awesome
Anything with Jeff Lynne on it is going to be great! But you add George Harrison and it's even better! Throw in Tom Petty, and that's like icing on the cake! Roy Orbison would be the candles on the cake! Bob Dylan? Eh...I can take him in small doses...but fortunately, on this album, Bob really brings his "A" game. It's almost impossible to pick a favorite song. "Handle With Care" is of course super-fantastic, very catchy, etc. "Last Night" is a fun song. "Not Alone Anymore" is a beautiful song. It really could have been lifted right off Orbison's "Mystery Girl" album. Even though I'm not that big into Dylan, I really like "Tweeter and the Monkey Man", which it's obvious that Dylan was probably the primary writer of, and of course the lead singer. "End of the Line" is great, and a good song to close the album with. If you're a fan of ELO, the Beatles, Petty, Oribison or Dylan (or any combination thereof) you won't be disappointed by this album.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Own an historic collaboration of great artists.
I searched and searched for a new copy of this CD after falling in love with the 10th song," End of the Line". It is too bad that these famous singers did not extend their collaboration beyond two albums. They absolutely sound great together and their material is still fresh decades later. I rock out to this while traveling in my car and I can still appreciate this good music at age seventy-one! My music tastes never change with my age.
