Unlike its predecessor, in Tecmo Super Bowl, you can pick your plays from a playbook for a total of eight different plays! You can also save your season stats as the season goes on, along with your game via battery. All your favorite NFL players are here. But on some eye black, don your pads and get ready for bone-crushing football action!

    Great game, definitely worth getting ...a classic.

    Tecmo Super Bowl is an exiting football game with lots of features. Unlike Tecmo Bowl, it has fumbles, onside kicks, time outs, more plays that you can even change to suite your game plan. You can check your players status to see if he’s in bad shape, average, good, or excellent. It has all 28 teams of the 1990-91 season, it’s got play action fakes. It’s an old game, so the battery may be dead, but you can play regular season mode, that has a 16 game schedule that leads you to the playoffs and eventually to the “Super Bowl!” There’s a bit more like changing your players positions. Anyway, great game!

    Best football game of all time!

    I remember playing this game as a kid and it was a blast. It had players names, kept stats, and playoffs. As I got older I could never recapture that fun factor with any other football title. I just recently picked this game up again after 24 years and have fell in love with it all over again. This game is awesome and the replay value is tremendous. Hands down this is a must own football game.

    Throwback

    It was one of my favorite Nintendo games made. Brings back a lot of memories & also has classic NFL players which makes it more fun

    Like Riding a Bike

    I haven’t played Tecmo Super Bowl in many years… and the nostalgia all came right back to me. The gameplay was like riding a bike as well (once you learn you never forget); First game out was with the Raiders/Bo Jackson and I admittedly picked a bad defense to play against me. Recently started a season with GB Packers 🙂
