Great experience! Above the expectation. For some reason USPS returned my item to this seller and he was nice enough to reach out directly and confirm the new shipping address. Shipped it the very next day without hesitation. Can't say I have experienced that from any other eBay transaction. Part arrived in sealed OEM packaging, just as described. Great value and got my AC system back online just in time! Will be saving this seller for sure.

Unfortunately I had an issue with the same part but with another seller and I had though it was this seller so I started a return with some not so nice wording. As I continued I realised my mistake which was with the other seller and corrected my review/return but unfortunately my initiating my return/review with this seller had put a negative mark on their account that doesn't go away. Works great so far...
The test with any electronic or mechanical device, especially one with expected daily use, is for durability and reliability. I'm sure there are many similar devices which can serve the purpose - indeed, I've used some of them. I liked that these were small and slim, minimally impacting my keychain compared to many others. And for such a small device, the claimed range is impressive, which I haven't tested the limits conclusively but the car starts reliably from my bedroom in a basement apartment in a private house and the car is located across the street and halfway across the parking lot. It gives audible and visual confirmation of commands sent, which is very useful. The trickiest part was "coding" these things to the compustar CM7200 Remote Starter I paired these with. Thats what its like to get these activated - kind of like "pairing" a bluetooth device with your phone or computer. In my case it took cycling the ignition on and off five times quickly - very quickly - and just as quickly hitting the "lock' button on the remotes to "code" them in. Once coded, they're good to go, fully fuctional. Use them in good health.

If you're not an "authorized installer" with a shop #, they don't want to provide any tech support. Granted, this is not a project for the faint of heart, but if you're confident enough to purchase this product and give it a go, the mftr should be willing to at least answer some questions. So, this worked for me and was priced right and Ive done several of these before so I got it all sorted out. But Compustar really should provide better tech support.If you're not an "authorized installer" with a shop #, they don't want to provide any tech support. Great Remote Starter unit
Installing it in a Mazda3 3rd gen and it's straight forward with instruction from respective brand maker. It has more than basic option and integrates well with oem alarm and doesn't need extra remotes for this car.

Top of the line!
Im a professional installer of 15 years and ive installed many, many different brands of remote starts over the years. I installed viper for the majority of my carrer, over that last several years ive seen compustar out-engineer directed elec. Their bypass firmwares are the most reliable and their hardware they use in the cm7200s are the best and most impressive ive ever seen. I reccomend professional installation of this product, and i definitely reccomend that you invest in this product.Im a professional installer of 15 years and ive installed many, many different brands of remote starts over the years.
