The Hama Star 61 Tripod is intended for use with photo and video cameras. The 3-way Hama Star tripod offers a quick-release plate for the photographer on the move. A crank on the unit will adjust the height up or down until the correct angle is found. The Hama Star 61 tripod can hold a weight of up to 3 kilograms. Weighing only 1.4 kilograms, this tripod is light enough to pack and move with one arm. With a max height of 1500 millimetres, the Hama Star Tripod is tall enough to set up behind a crowd seated at an event. The bottom of the tripod has rubber feet to ensure the equipment does not move or slide when in use. A hook on the underside of the Hama Star 61 Tripod enables a camera bag to hang comfortably and anchor the whole unit to remain steady in windy situations.

Qualche problema con la comunicazione e l'invio della fattura, prima di avere riscontro ho scritto in italiano e in inglese senza esito, mi sono fatto tradurre il testo in polacco da un'amica (non mi fidavo di Translate) e finalmente mi hanno risposto con tempi però un pò lunghi. Esito sostanzialmente positivo ma è stata dura....

    Surprisingly pleased

    I was desperate for a tripod bit didn't have a large budget, and I thought all honesty I thought I'd be getting the usual ebay fail, one of those that looked OK in the pictures but when you got it looked like it would break if you touched it with your little finger. Very pleasantly surprised... Sturdy, looks pretty bomb proof, handy little carry bag, decent height, handy quick release mechanism, Decent leg span. Very pleased... The husband straight away asked me how much it was because it looked expensive! My only slight quarm is it is slightly on the heavier side compared to my old one (which was cheap rubbish) but I can live with that. All in all, very happy

    Tripod 60" inches high

    I read all the reviews before purchasing, that in itself gave me confidence in purchasing this tripod. It is most definitely true to its picture provided. Height is 60 inches, i am 5'3 and this tripod is much taller than me. If you are buying for your phone you would have to purchase a phone tripod attachment in which i already had. It is very steady and strong, for the prize i am extremly impressed. I had one which i purchased for 37£ off ebay and this 18£ tripod is much taller which was what i was looking for and feels alot stronger and beautifully designed. If you are searching for a tripod with a great height,  great strenght, as well as easy to use, for phones aswell as for a proffesional camera do not hesistate and click buy. You will not regret it.

    Good value but too much flex

    For the money it is very good value with lots of useful features. However it has one major flaw in my opinion which is the tripod mount onto which your camera is attached. If you wish to use your camera in the normal plane of level then you will find that the mounting plate flexes up and down as you try to focus/press the shutter release. The reason being that the camera is connected to a plate which is only attached to the tripod on one side so you have in effect a hinge- which being plastic- flexes when any weight is placed on the camera. The only option would be to attach a remote shutter activator but even then the focus may still be out. I have subsequently purchased another tripod with a fixed solid mount base which solves the problem.

    Good for the price

    For the price I wasn't expecting something this stable with so many features. The legs are easy to extend, the quick release works well. It won't hold a DSLR with a huge zoom lens but it copes with my 300mm just about. If you want a decent entry-level tripod then this is a good one.

    Tripod

    Very sturdy, good for unlevel ground, it’s lightweight folds up and extends easily, it goes over 5ft and really easy to use and set up.
