The Best That You Can Do is Fall in Love
This awesome shot of nostalgia really took me back! Before the movie really even began, the sound of Christopher Cross singing "Best That You Can Do" had me on the verge of tears for my young self, wishing I could live life all over again. Dudley Moore and Sir John Gielgud were so amazing in this movie; it would have been a dismal shell of itself without either of them. If you haven't ever seen "Arthur," or if like me, it has been more than a lifetime since you have, do yourself a favor and buy this video. Next to falling in love, it's the best that you can do!

If you're a Dudley Moore fan and haven't seen 'ARTHUR' (1981) . . . you definitely need to see this one because it is considered one of his best performances of Moore's acting career. Moore is the principle actor in this feature length film playing opposite to Liza Minnelli, both are the perfect chemistry for fun and laughter in a story of two unlikely people to fall in love.

Remembering a good one!!
This 80s movie is a travel time, a good story with a great cast…you’ll see how New York City was a several decades ago. Includes a good song performed by Christopher Cross (Arthur’s theme Best that you can do). This movie is highly recommended.

Forget comedy gold, this is PLATINUM!
The laughs come at you from multiple directions! Sure, lovable lush Dudley Moore and brassy Liza Minnelli deliver -- but Sir John Gielgud stealing the comedy show, nailing it? Priceless!

I'll alert the media!
Love love love this movie. There are so many lines you repeat. Liza Minnelli is great in the movie. So raw and real. Dudley Moore is hilarious without being over stated. Makes it seem flawlessly natural. Of course without the straight man/butler John Gielgud the movie just wouldn't be as funny. Also tells a moral lesson of wealth and less than wealthy and how we are all really the same - in need of love. watch it over and over!

DUDLEY AND JOHN.......PERFECTION.
Dudley Moore was magic and John Gielgud complimented him perfectly. Today's pasty Hollywood crowd could never recreate this classic.

Dudley Moore is the one, true “Arthur”
What a cast! Dudley Moore and Sir John Gielgud! The remake doesn’t do it justice. And the theme song! That’s my faaaavorite part. And SO MANY one-liners!! A must-see.

Bad quality
I love the movie story, however, even though it was new and in the package it seems to have a problem with the volume. Can hardly hear the movie lines so I turn the volume all the way up.... Then when music plays the volume is then blasting and I have to turn way down. It's kind of a pain and I'm disappointed.

I love Dudley Moore !
Arthur is a good time kinda movie about a happy rich drunk and who better to play that role but Dudley Moore. He was simply the best at comedy and I miss him greatly.
