not engaging
Despite the good reviews, I found this book shallow, pointless and absolutely non-engaging, however well-written. The story is about attractive young things leading shallow lives. The main female character, Lydia, is, to say the least, irritating, spoilt and empty-headed. As for the hard copy, seller sent me a paperback described as 'in good condition'. Oh, really?
