Blast From The Past
I first owned one of these games a little over forty years ago. I played mine for a few years until I finally irreparably damaged it as kids so often do. When I saw the game on eBay, I just had to have it. It’s still fun to play and it brings back great childhood memories of playing this game with my friends. Entertaining and fun.
The fun part of this game is that its really simple and plays like the one I used to own as a kid. It's actually challenging to get your running back through the defensive line since you need to run the full field five times across the screen to make it comparable to an actual football field. The sound effects are pretty good and much more improved than the original version. Not what it used to be.
Please know that I own the original and have kept it all these years. It just broke months ago. This new version has awesome sound effects which are entertaining. However the light display is not nearly the same quality as the original. It lights up the whole screen instead of just the red little rectangles. The buttons are very mushy and hard to control. The AI if you want to call it that is very difficult. The original had patterns that you could use to be able to score touchdowns. This version it's all out to get you. Great Game REAL RETRO GAME!!!

Is what it is, that old plastic football game you played as a kid!

10 year old even loves it!

Good Remake

Handheld Football
In the day and age we live in, old school games like this get overlooked very often. It was a cool staple in my childhood because once my N64 went off, this game turned on. Very basic in nature, as in the actual game of football. There's two levels, beginner and intermediate but both are entertaining.
